1| Had Pimm’s for the first time at Phillip Marie in some delicious cocktail involving mint and grapefruit. Drank it like juice and was red-faced a quarter of the way through. Happy Birthday, Betsy!
2| Checked out the High Line when Justin visited. Very cool! I’m sure it will get crazy busy as the weather gets nicer.
3| Eataly is Mario Batali’s brain child: Italian market and restaurants and social space all in one.
4| Fantastic feast with friends at Fanny.
5| Justin and I spent some time walking through Park Slope toward Williamsburg. Many cool buildings along the way, including the central Brooklyn Public Library.
6| Lana and I didn’t end up walking across the Brooklyn Bridge, but we did sit along the water and stare at it.

I’ve been on a project in New York since the end of February. There be some good eats there.
1| I stayed in Jersey City for the first month. Warehouse Cafe was my favorite part. Their Jane Eyre (earl grey latte with soy milk) is wonderful.
2| Macarons from Bisous Ciao. I also love Macaron Cafe.
3| LOVE the macaroni and cheese at S’MAC.
4| Sushi dinner for Betsy’s birthday at Bond St. Or is it BondSt? BONDST? Whatever. I like it there.
5| My little sister Lana came to visit me for Spring Break and got this dessert from Milk Bar. We also had birthday cake truffles, obviously.
6| We had dinner at Candle 79, a really great vegan restaurant. I would go back just for the homemade ice creams. They’re coconut-milk-based and so tasty!
I don’t take pictures EVERYWHERE I go.

As a peace offering for the lack of posts lately, je te presente an amalgamation of my Instagram photos from the last several months. I put these together in PowerPoint. Deal with it.
1| Amaro has this great wall art (Is that what you would call it?). I always sneak a peek when we’re having brunch at Tangerine.
2| I’m a pretty disappointing skier for having lived in Colorado for almost four years. Had a couple good days this year at Eldora!
3| LYLAS WILCO XOXO. I think this was the coolest stage I’ve seen.
4| Came home one week to a little surprise c/o Justin c/o eBay. HOO HOO HOO HOOOOSIERS!
5| I am not a fashion blogger.
6| A great way to spend a beautiful Boulder day: happy hour on the Med patio! Don’t worry, we had more food coming.

Last night I had one drink before bed for the second night in a row.

I fell asleep giggling, crying, babbling, and my entire body was red.

How long until I’m some sort of sociable human being of the 21st century?

What I would do for Planters Cheez Curls and Balls.

I recognized this immediately, related to this story I heard a few weeks ago. I’m REALLY smart and cultured, you guys. And my inner child pianist is cracking up.

If you’re ever wondering where I ‘get it,’ it’s because this is where I come from.

How could a seven-year-old make Claudia feel so dumb.

This book taught me the word genius. I did not know the word genius until this book. I thought it was pronounced genesis. Genius. BUT IT’S FINE BECAUSE NOW I AM ONE.

Thanksgiving in Aspen.

I wasn’t even there for this, but I’m giggling too hard not to share. This was a few months ago in Ohio. My dad climbed all the trees to find the biggest, baddest apples. Also, the last time I saw them, my mom made my dad order a lemon drop instead of a beer. She was all excited because it was a new, delicious drink she had recently discovered. They also drove down the pedestrian-only 16th Street Mall in Denver. Maybe it’s funnier if you know them …

If you’re still not sure what to get me—OR ANY OTHER HUMAN—for Christmas, it’s this Lisa Frank Polar Fleece.
